A Ukrainian drone attack on Friday caused a fireplace in a commercial in Russia about 170 kilometers from the border, the government said.
kyiv has carried out more airstrikes against Russian power and military facilities in recent months, a crusade it describes as just retribution for Russia’s relentless blockades of its cities and power grid.

“As a result of a drone attack in Lyudinovo, a chimney exploded on the territory of a trading company,” said the governor of the Russian region, Vladislav Shapsha, in an article on Telegram.
Lyudinovo is kilometers (105 miles) of the Russian-Ukrainian border.
Videos not verified on Russian social networks showed a burning fireplace in what is believed to be an oil deposit in the area.
kyiv’s military has hit several Russian oil depots in recent weeks, adding two major strikes at a facility near an Army airfield in the Saratov region that sparked daylong blazes.
