The Industry War Later: China Retaliated as Trump’s Industry War Heats Up

In addition to its in the United States, China has introduced a survey against monopoly on Google.

The country’s state market regulator offered main points about the investigation or what he alleged that Google had done to violate the law.

Google like its Seek engine is blocked in China, but it works with local businesses like advertisers.

China also added two US firms to its “unreliable entity list”: PVH Corp, the holding company for brands including Calvin Klein, and biotechnology firm Illumina.

The world’s top two economies have exchanged trade war blows this morning.

Donald Trump imposed an additional 10% rate in all Chinese imports at five am.

In a matter of minutes, China took reprisals with an advertisement of 15% price lists on the US coal and liquefied herbal gas, and 10% in raw oil, farm devices and some vehicles.

The new costs will begin on February 10, said the Ministry of Commerce of China.

“The trade war is in the early stages so the likelihood of further tariffs is high,” Oxford Economics said in a note as it downgraded its China economic growth forecast.

China’s Ministry of Commerce said the country will also impose export controls on parts related to tungsten, rutalium, ruthenium, molybdenum and ruthenium to “protect national security interests. “

Trump warned that he can simply accumulate price lists in China unless Beijing knows about fentanyl, a fatal opioid, in the United States.

“China hopefully is going to stop sending us fentanyl, and if they’re not, the tariffs are going to go substantially higher,” he said yesterday.

China has called for the fentanyl challenge and said it would defy the World Trade Organization and take other countermeasures, but also left the door open for discussions.

A White House spokesman said Trump would speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping until later in the week.

Welcome back to our live coverage as Donald Trump’s tariffs come into effect on China – after 11th-hour negotiations led to pauses to threatened tariffs on Mexico and China yesterday.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said he was looking to make a deal with Kyiv “where they’re going to secure what we give them with their rare land and other things. “

He told reporters that the Government of Ukraine has signaled openness to the concept of exchanging its lithium, titanium, and other rare Earth minerals for continued U. S. aid.

Trump also complained that Europe had provided Ukraine the same point of help as the United States.

“We have an ocean between the two of us. They don’t. It’s more for them than for us,” he said.

As the geography of U. S. President Donald Trump’s statements increases, so do the lines of concern from leaders around the world.

On the 14th of Trump’s presidency he threatened a war of the global industry and the news of the disappearance most likely of USAID: the United States agency for relief and international development.

But the 78 years also spent his time complaining that “South Africa confiscated land” and “certain people” were treated “very bad” in an article on their social website.

He threatened to cut the entire long-term budget of the country until a full investigation is carried out. What’s wrong?

Part of the Donald Trump industry war is based on the preference of US President to the fentanyl of US streets.

The opioid is blamed for some 70,000 overdose deaths annually across the country, with criminal networks stretching back to China, Mexico and beyond blamed for pushing the drug into the US illegally.

Detecting the drug is incredibly complicated for the application of the law due to its lack of smell and the small amounts in which it is sent: the fentanyl is 50 times more powerful than the heroin.

But Trump hopes that by slapping the price lists of the industry in fentanyl countries, it will prevent flow.

He’s already seeing results.

After pronouncing the 25% price lists in Mexico, its president announced that he is sending 10,000 troops to the U. S. border to combat drug trafficking as a component of a deal with Trump to suspend price lists for a month (see 15. 35 Post).

Canada also gained a 30-day break after making similar promises, despite U. S. customs, entering 99. 98% of fentanyl in addition to its border with Mexico than its border with Canada in the last monetary year.

On Day of Thirlwind, America’s two closest neighbors appear to have capitulated to President Trump.

The costs of 25% in all the assets of the two countries were to enter the United States at midnight, east time today. But after calls among the 3 leaders, the costs were interrupted.

So what is happening? Is this a transparent sign of the force Trump exerts? Is your forceful tool for the risk of price lists as a negotiation tool worth it?

Well, maybe. At least that’s how M. Trump thinks. Dance to my tune, or else.

And this is actually the case that Mexico and Canada were in panic mode this weekend. But Donald Trump also panicked a little when he saw inventory markets this morning. He said this afternoon not to take note of his acute falls. But we know that he cares deeply about market reactions.

Here’s the appealing thing: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sounded at first glance like he was announcing something new.

“Canada is implementing our border planning of $ 1. 3 billion . . . not 10,000 body of first -line paintters are working and paint the border . . . “

But this is a new ad. Look at the language: “They are and will be. ” In other words: “We are already doing it, Mr. President, but if you need to reite it to be uploaded, I will do it . . . “

All Justin Trudeau has done is repeat a border plan he announced last December. You can read it here.

Mexico has also made an expansion in the opposite combat to the fentanyl (read it here), but now it can be alone and more.

So has it all been theatre this past 24 hours?

A demonstration of Donald Trump’s breakup, which might have had a cliff end but instead ended with him strong (and panicking in panic in much of the global evolved in the process) and his closest neighbors forced to reiterate their existing plans.

Earlier, we noted that the Canadian province of Ontario banned U. S. contracts from contracts until U. S. costs were eliminated.

Prime Minister Doug Ford said that Starlink through Elon Musk would be among those who have their “torn” contracts (see 21. 05 post).

After tonight’s news that the U. S. price lists are not going to be in the U. S. U. S. Now they will be paused for 30 days, Ford says Ontario will adapt to the adaptation.

But he warned that Ontario “will not hesitate” to eliminate American products from their shelves or prohibit US corporations of provincial purchases if price lists go ahead.

“Make no mistake, Canada and Ontario continue to look at price risk,” he said in X.

“Whether it’s tomorrow, in a month or a year from now when we’re renegotiating the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement.”

Canada would possibly have reached American tariffs, however, “they are not yet outside the forest,” says foreign correspondent Diana Magnay in Windsor, Ont.

Justin Trudeau announced this evening that the 25% tariffs due to come into place from tomorrow would be paused for 30 days.

That’s thanks to a deal struck with Washington that will see Canada strengthen security at its US border and provide promises to tackle the movement of the drug fentanyl over it.

“What to deal with their closest allies on their northern and southern borders,” Magnay says.

“By pushing them to the edge of the economic war, then at the last moment, to step back and say that we have an agreement. “

But Magnay says that Canada and Mexico are still lazy with the problem, since the boms last only 30 days.
