“I don’t understand,” a Ukrainian drone operator commented after defeating some other Russian attack along the same routes to Kursk

Russian air strike forces attacked the Ukrainian garrison in Russia’s western Kursk oblast or just before Saturday, rolling 8 fighting cars against the BMD Infantry along the same roads: they took the village of Viktorovka, have been since November by the attacks of the 250-Sali-mile-mile Diren the Ukrainians cut off from Kursk in August.

The result was predictable. Ukrainian forces anchored through the 22nd Mechanized Brigade and the 17th Heavy Mechanized Brigade destroyed 4 of the 8 BMDs of the Russian 234th Air Assault Regiment. “I don’t perceive the point of striking where they’re attacking for the third month,” said Kriegsforscher, a Ukrainian Marine Corps drone operator whose corporate took out one of the BMDs.

Vehicle attacks repeated along the same roads through the same Russian regiments, almost all ending in the defeat of the Russians, are also destroyed by Russian rank. In Kursk, Russian commanders gain next to nothing and lose everything, according to a Russian blogger. These evil commanders are “geniuses,” the blogger wrote sarcastically.

The predictable aggression and costly assistance to the staggering Russian casualties of Kursk as Russia’s wider war enters its fourth year. Pleasing the Ukrainian prey. Volodymyr Zelensky, North Korea’s Russia-Korea 60,000 box army in Kursk suffered up to 35,000 casualties seeking to drive the 20,000 Ukrainians out of the oblast.

The Russian Kursk counteroffensive that began in earnest in November has diminished, but not been eliminated, the Ukrainian salient. Vladimir Putin continues to push back the deadline for his forces to fully retake Kursk. After several revisions amid the overall failure of Russian attacks on the oblast last fall, the Kremlin extended the deadline until February, only to then drop that deadline.

Don’t be surprised if the Russians miss the new deadline. Russian gains: through Viktorovka. But the Ukrainian 6th Ranger Regiment still controls the maximum of the village.

Russian troops and actually traumatizing, some Russian troops in Kursk are resorting to brutal war crimes as a way to vent their frustration and hopefully terrorize their Ukrainian enemies. The U. S. military has been destroyed and rebuilt in the 35 months since its war opposed Ukraine expanded: it disturbed 4 Ukrainian prisoners and showed the heads of the pikes.

If history is any guide, the crimes of the Russians will not succeed in demoralizing Ukrainians. In fact, they tend to have the opposite effect. When the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade stripped naked and executed nine Ukrainian prisoners in October, it unleashed a series of fatal raids through Ukrainian troops intentionally targeting the Russian brigade.

In those retaliatory raids, the Ukrainians took no prisoners.
