Government Journalist
Cassandra joined Community Impact in November 2022 as a local educational reporter for the county. She went on to take a position as a reporter for City Hall and government to cover the city of Houston in March 2024. A graduate of Lamar University, she has previously worked as a general reporter for The Port Arthur News and spent time as a freelance travel writer. In addition to writing, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and taking photographs.
