PBS, the liberal media outlet funded by taxpayer money, needs sports and athletes to spend their time lecturing it on climate. In case you didn’t know, the Paris Olympics have the ambitious goal of halving greenhouse fuel emissions compared to the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. This will save China in one way or another from reducing its ever-increasing emissions, which undermine the rest of the world’s emissions reductions.
PBS needs every single sporting occasion to become a convention session, depending on environmental advice from the New York Yankees (yes, that exists).
“If athletes sell cars, if they make banks, if they sell pizzas, why can’t they sell environmental knowledge?” they tell us.
What are the reasons why the weather affects sport?According to PBS, they come with hurricanes (which have existed and are deceptively connected to climate change through liberal media), thunderstorms that cause rain delays, and the fact that the 2019 World Championships marathon had to be held at midnight due to excessive heat. This last example is especially comical given that the marathon took place in Qatar, a slave state that is one of the most popular countries in the world.

It’s safe to say that “climate change” is rarely much to blame for not being able to run a marathon in the desert in a day.
Sport has become a convenient way for the liberal media to assert their cultural concerns. Who can have Black Lives Matter be shown everywhere on basketball and football fields or Bob Costas give a halftime lecture to the public about gun control?This climate cataclysm is not the other, in that it is political propaganda aimed at not substituting anything until the real challenge is resolved.
