Maxx Crosby “exhausts” all resources to achieve his career season

Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby set a career high with 14. 5 sacks in the 2023 season, but he wasn’t in full force when he posted those numbers.

Crosby underwent knee and thumb surgeries after the Raiders’ season ended and said “it’s been an incredible offseason” due to injuries. He has been in the form he was before the injury while also looking to “take the next step” as a player in the coming season.

“I pretty much limited each and every day, the total season in training and stuff like that,” Crosby said via Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. com. “And I had to be informed to adjust because I can’t just pass out there. and dig my knee into the ground. He had to be in a position for Sunday. It made me take a step back so I could take just 3 steps forward, and I feel like that’s the purpose of this offseason: my only purpose is. to be the most productive in the world, pound for pound, and I communicate it, I’m in it, I live it each and every day and any street I have to take to get where I have to go, I’m going to do it. So I’m exhausting all the resources I have to live the most productive season of my career.

Crosby’s injuries didn’t stop him from playing, as he played each and every game for the fifth time in his five NFL seasons. Combining that durability with increased fitness would be a step in the right direction for Raiders customers this fall.
