The agreement between the NaturNes, Babicao and Babianilla brands, as well as the P’tit franchises, with the Parisian investor has been approved by the festival government and workers’ representatives.
The transaction, however, does not include any of Nestlé’s infant formula products or brands in France. When negotiations with FnB began in February, the Swiss food giant described baby powder as “a strategic and historic pillar for the group. “
FnB will house the assets acquired under a company called Azuré Holding, led by Antoine Forbin as chairman and chairman, according to a statement from the investor, the company’s majority shareholder.
Forbin says: “By relying on groups in position that are already fully mobilized since the beginning of the year, complemented by our recruitment groups and equipped with a quality commercial tool, in Arches in the Vosges, our ambition is to give a new strategic expansion boost to identified and resilient brands.
“We will continue to deploy our capacity for innovation, getting closer to consumers, especially strengthening our share of voice and ensuring operational excellence for our customers. “

Long-term production of the acquired baby food brands will focus on a factory in Arches, a commune in the Vosges region of northeastern France.
This site is part of the agreement with Nestlé, as well as the 235 existing workers who worked for soup maker Maggi, an FnB spokesperson told Just Food.
The plant has an annual turnover of approximately €100 million ($108. 1 million) generated locally, with a production capacity of 33,000 tons. The acquired brands represent 25% of the market share in France.
Azuré Holding is a holding company created through FnB to space out assets and a new call for business will be announced later, as well as a new call for the purchased brands, the spokesperson said.
Financial terms of the Nestlé deal were revealed.
Valérie Lutt, wife of FnB, considers that the acquired Bavia food brands have “strong prospects for progression and an exclusive positioning in the market”, adding: “We are very confident of the competence of the entire team, led by Antoine Forbin, to our market share and to identify new drivers of expansion, namely through innovation.
