EFL on Sky Sports: How to watch your championship, league one or league two team next season

Sky Sports will broadcast more than 1000 EFL matches next season. Here’s what you want to know about monitoring your team. . .

Each Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 team will appear on Sky at least 20 times next season.

And of the 24 clubs in the championship they will be live on Sky at least 24 times.

The matches will be broadcast on existing Sky Sports channels or on the new Sky Sports logo (more details below!)

This will update the EFL national streaming option provided by iFollow and club streaming services.

Launched in August, Sky Sports will be incorporated into Sky TV, the NOW streaming service and the Sky Sports app, giving Sky Sports consumers more than 50 per cent more live games this year, at no extra cost.

With the ability to stream up to a hundred simultaneous live streams, Sky Sports makes it easier for enthusiasts to locate and observe their team.

Once live, Sky Sports will transfer to the existing Sky experience, on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q and NOW.

Starting in August, this will also come with any and all Sky Sports live streams and on-demand catch-up content.

Each full weekend of EFL matches will see 10 matches broadcast, adding up to 3 league matches, two Ligue 1 and two Ligue 2, all broadcast at 12:30 p. m. on Saturday.

All EFL opening weekend, final day and midweek matches will be broadcast live, as will all matches played on public holidays, adding Easter, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The matches played in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 and the foreign break will also be broadcast live.

For the first time, enthusiasts will also be able to watch all the matches of the Carabao Cup and the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Even if some matches are rescheduled for broadcast purposes, most matches will be postponed.

The era of blocked transmission – called “Article 48” – between 2:45 p. m. and 2:45 p. m. and 5:15 p. m. on Saturday afternoons, will remain in effect, meaning that the main broadcasts will be scheduled outdoors at this time.
