Fast food enthusiasts were heartbroken after a primary chain announced the abrupt closure of a “wonderful” branch.
Bosses at Burger King have shown that one of their Broadway restaurants in Bradford, West Yorkshire, will open its doors.
The agency, which opened at the same time as the mall in 2015, will do so on July 26, the Telegraph reported.
A spokesperson for The Broadway said: “We can verify that Burger King will be doing so on July 26.
“We will announce new fashion and good looking stores in the coming weeks. “
It comes as paint work begins for a branch of Burger King on Harrogate Road, Eccleshill.
A Burger King spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our restaurant on Broadway, Bradford, will be closing.
“However, we are pleased to announce that consumers will be able to enjoy Burger King at our new Eccleshill restaurant in Bradford, which will open its doors next month.
“We will contact you soon to learn more about the new opening. “
In October 2023, Burger King planned to open 30 new restaurants by the end of the year.
Burger King began its expansion with the opening of five new stores in October.
The company said it plans to open a total of 60 restaurants in the next two years in the future.
In 2022, the restaurant chain opened 32 new restaurants owned by Burger King UK and acquired 74 from its largest franchise partner, Karali Group.
It has also improved 32 restaurants, the star product of Leicester Square, and announced that it will complete 10 more by the end of 2023, Manchester Piccadilly and Thorpe Park.
The company announced “resilient performance” and reported that its overall profit increased by up to 39% in 2022.
A HIGH Street café chain is removing drinks from its paid loyalty program as part of the club’s renovation.
The Pret a Manger Ready Club currently costs £30 per month, or £360 per year, and members can reap the benefits of five loose hot or iced drinks prepared during a barista day.
The program also gives away 20 euros off the rest of the food and beverage menu.
But starting with the changes coming in September, subscribers will get 50% off five barista-made drinks per day.
This program’s food menu discounts will also end.
At the same time, the price of the programme will be reduced to £10 per month, with a £5 per month discount available until the end of March 2025.
Furious consumers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to criticize the decision.
One follower said, “Say the word that I will cancel as many others will!!What a shame!”
Another added, “They replaced their subscription with 50% off five drinks from five single drinks. . . they just ruined my day. “
A third exclaimed, “This is a very sad day for coffee lovers. “
Meanwhile, Burger King is bringing back an item that recently left McDonald’s menu.
