Renamed 19 Motcomb Street, the imposing stucco façade construction will space out the Japanese restaurant concept SACHI, the Provençal restaurant Amélie and LUUM, a Latin American-inspired bar and lounge that combines “mixology, music and extravagance”.
On the current grounds and also on the rooftop at 19 Motcomb Street, SACHI will feature a 62-seat dining room with an omakase t overlooking a lively open kitchen. The roof of SACHI will accommodate another 115 people and will be heated with a retractable. roof.
The menu will concentrate on kappo ryori, which means cut and cook, which comes in the form of a refined multi-course menu with seasonal ingredients.
SACHI has a presence in Milan and earlier this year opened a restaurant in the Italian city.
Amélie, for its part, will have 111 seats distributed on the ground floor and mezzanine of the building (it will also have a terrace with 58 seats on Motcomb Street).
Led by chef Steve Raveneau (formerly a member of the Arts Club), the kitchen will serve “bold Mediterranean flavors” and feature an exclusive caviar menu.
Amélie will also offer an extensive wine list, curated by Erik Simonics, head of wine and beverage at 19 Motcomb Street, including a wine cellar with capacity for up to 2,000 bottles.
LUUM will offer 88 seats, 4 of them comfortable, each with capacity for 15 guests, late night license and will offer a program of concerts during the week.
