XINING, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) — Xi Jinping, secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, inspected northwest China’s Qinghai Province on Tuesday.
During the inspection, Xi visited a Tibetan Buddhist school and temple in Xining, capital of Qinghai.
He learned about local efforts to promote school painting collaboration between the East and West regions and joint assistance, as well as strengthening education to forge a strong sense of network painting for the Chinese nation.
Xi also learned about the efforts of the Tibetan Buddhist circle to promote traditions of love for country and religion, and to promote ethnic unity and progress.
