Satisfied summer time in New York City, soaking up the sun and getting away from the city’s damp, busy streets, all at IGC Hospitality’s new rooftop bar, the Vintage Green.
Vintage Green, IGC Hospitality’s latest and largest rooftop, offering the rooftops of Refinery, Royalton Park Avenue and Glass Roof, opened on July 24 and is the best location for drinking, socializing and laughing in the summer.

Take the elevator from the Shelburne Sonesta Hotel in Murray Hill to the sensible lot and find a panoramic terrace with indoor and outdoor spaces (with a bar in each) and plenty of other seating areas. The 11,000-square-foot Vintage Green offers visitors fine dining, delicious cocktails, immersive live art and augmented reality entertainment. All of this takes place in a grassy oasis atmosphere, where plants and greenery juxtapose close-up views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and the East River.
The antique and lawn aesthetic is complemented by fresh culinary delights, presented by chef Chris D’Ambrosio, formerly of Bouley. These delicious and appetizing bites come with caviar, oysters, and hot dogs. Pair it all with complicated cocktails, like a fruit aperol margarita, hosted by beverage director Nancy Santiago.
In addition to delicious food and drinks, there will be pop-up exhibits throughout the summer, featuring everything from musicians and skaters to jugglers, breakdancers and more. Featured performers include actor Doug Gillespie (Life and Trust), actress Leslie Kraus (Sleep No More, Drowned Man), Dan Safer and award-winning magician Blaise Serra. This immersive live art, plus augmented truth entertainment, is curated by Sylvana Levy, founder of SLX Global, and will appear on the rooftop throughout the summer.
So take the elevator up to Vintage Green and feel the rest of the city streets. With a cocktail in one hand and a bao bun in the other, and entertainment in front of you, have the best summer night out. Vintage Green is open Tuesday through Saturday from five p. m.
