Chinese President Xi Jinping invited President Bola Tinubu to pay a state to China in September.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong handed over the invitation to Tinubu at Villa Aso on Thursday.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made this known in a statement issued through his official report to X on Friday.
According to the statement, Tinubu accepted the invitation and hoped it would improve bilateral relations between Nigeria and China and the proposed currency exchange agreement.
He added: “Chen, who arrived here with a giant entourage, said President Xi would also welcome First Lady Remi Tinubu during his visit. »
