STAMFORD, Conn. – July 16, 2024 – The 2024-25 Premier League season kicks off in a month’s time on NBCUniversal’s platforms, with the opening match on Friday, August 16 when Manchester United host Fulham at 3 p. m. And on USA Network and Universo.
The political focus of the opening weekend (full schedule below) is reigning champions Manchester City opening their crusade at Chelsea, in their first PL match under the new manager. head coach Enzo Maresca – Sunday, August 18 at 11:30 a. m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Télémundo. Last season, City were the first club in the history of the English top flight to win 4 consecutive titles. On Saturday, August 17, Liverpool, in their first PL match under new head coach Arne Slot, will take on newly promoted Ipswich Town, returning to the Premier League for the first time since 2001-02, at 7:00 p. m. 30 a. m. USA and Universe Network.
NBC Sports’ Premier League studio of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard will be in the United Kingdom for special broadcasts at locations Friday through Sunday, including: At Old Trafford on Friday for Manchester United-Fulham (3 p. m. ) . ET on USA Network and Universo), at London Stadium on Saturday for West Ham-Aston Villa (12:30 p. m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo), and at Stamford Bridge on Sunday for Chelsea-Manchester City (11:30 a. m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo).
Throughout the 2024-25 season, Premier League politics will be featured on NBC, Peacock and USA Network. Peacock continues its extensive Premier League policy this season: adding exclusive events, any and all events broadcast live on the NBC broadcast network, studio shows, full event replays, and much more, and USA Network continues to be the pl’s cable network. Telemundo, Universo and Peacock will offer a broad policy in Spanish.
