Road closures for areas
These are the closed entrances in the north of Golden Gate Park, according to the park’s official website: Transverse Drive to Crossover Drive, JFK Drive to Transverse Drive, 30th Avenue, 36th Avenue, 43rd Avenue (Chain of Lakes), 47th Avenue and The big highway towards JFK Drive.

Where can I be picked up or dropped off at Outside Lands?

Can I pay to use a resident’s parking space?
Some schools near Golden Gate Park sell their parking lots at Outside Lands to raise money, such as Argonne Elementary School (which doesn’t take reservations).
Residents around Golden Gate Park can also sell their parking spaces to festival visitors. You can locate them on Reddit, Facebook, or even browsing the Sunset District on the user and seeing who signed up. If you decide to use this address to locate the parking lot, be more vigilant of scams and make sure you send cash to the right user.
What if you block a driveway, even if it’s mine?
According to the SFMTA, San Francisco’s transportation code allows citizens to park on the street and block their own driveway “as long as the driveway does not serve more than two tenants. ” According to the SFMTA, multi-family groups with three or more people block their own driveway. Vehicles may also never be parked on the sidewalk.

Traveling to Outer Lands Using SF Muni
SF Muni has a useful map of its features for transport routes to the Outside Lands (PNG) and the company has its own advisor to get to Golden Gate Park in Muni.
Muni will provide more service on N Judah and 5R Fulton Rapid. However, remember: later 5R service will cover the entire route. Each night of the festival, there will be Muni 5X Fulton Express service from Golden Gate Park to the Civic Center BART station.

Use the Outland Shuttle
You can ride the Outside Lands Shuttle, which runs from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to the south front of the Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park. The Civic Center BART station is next to the Bill Graham Auditorium.
These “tour buses” are prepaid and charge $29. 50 for a day pass (with service fee). Starting Thursday, you can only get the highest level of three-day tickets for $44. 50.
The service will begin operating on both days at 11 a. m. and will operate “uninterrupted all day with limited coverage” starting at 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. , with the last festival coming and going leaving the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 8 p. m. Get Out of the Dirt at BART
The closest BART station to Golden Gate Park is Civic Center. From there, you can continue to Outside Lands SF Muni or use the official paid Outside Lands shuttle, which departs from the nearby Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
BART service will run until “around midnight” on all 3 days, according to official Outside Lands guidelines. Cycling to the outer lands

If you share a car, tell your driver to tell the parking lot that you want to access the ADA parking lot, which is also located at the 36th and Fulton fronts.
ADA parking is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can access this parking lot by entering 36th Avenue and Fulton and speaking with the front officers.
