WWE Money In The Bank 2024 Results: Tiffany Stratton Wins Women’s Ladder Match

Tiffany Stratton took a step towards stardom in WWE Money in the Bank 2024.

The 25-year-old former NXT star outlasted five other superstars to win the coveted Money in the Bank women’s briefcase. Stratton was able to stop by Chelsea Green to pick up the briefcase, and is now just one cash away from becoming a World Cup winner. champion.

Widely praised by pro wrestling legends like Paul Heyman and Booker T, Stratton is perhaps the most hyped NXT call-up in the women’s department that WWE has ever had. When she was promoted to the SmackDown roster in early 2024, expectations for Stratton were already through the roof, however, the strong public reactions she temporarily generated surprised even WWE officials.

However, no one is surprised that Stratton is now the money lady in the bank.

Despite rumors of backstage warmth that led to his retirement from the screen, WWE officials reportedly see big things in Stratton’s future. According to a recent report from PWInsider, “Stratton has yet to gain anything in terms of control and other skills since he joined the main roster a few months ago. Despite the rumors, we are told that Stratton’s prestige within the company has not changed and that he continues to make good progress, as he is someone with high control potential.

Just six months after her stint on SmackDown, Stratton has become the eighth female MITB winner, joining a prestigious list that includes Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Bayley and reigning women’s world champion Liv Morgan. So far, every single MITB holder who has been able to make money has done so successfully, and there is little reason why Stratton might not deliver on its promise.

WWE’s women’s department largely revolves around the same handful of stars for the past five years. That includes Becky Lynch, who has been a free agent lately, as well as longtime Hall of Famers like Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. Eventually, one or two new stars manage to break through and win gold at the World Championships, such as Sky, Morgan and Rhea Ripley.

But with the vast majority of the WWE women’s team remaining on the sidelines for the world title, Stratton is the best candidate to breathe new life into the championship scene.

Although Stratton has been wrestling for less than three years, he’s already had a handful of star-studded appearances, adding a performance at this year’s Elimination Chamber event and a standout performance against Becky Lynch at No Mercy’s event. NXT last year.

The Money in the Bank briefcase is the most productive catalyst for a Stratton. So that? Well, the briefcase is most productive used as a heel and is intended to serve as a launching pad for a rising star. Stratton, of course, checks either box as a new star playing a villain and is the best candidate to capture the cash.

There is no rush with Stratton either.

WWE Artistic Director Triple H has shown that he has a lot of patience when it comes to long-term storytelling and that he constantly creates engaging content that helps keep most WWE stars in applicable storylines. Stratton has already acclimated to the top roster quite well, but with up to a year under her belt before joining her, there will be no doubt about whether she’s ready.

Stratton is an absolute bargain, and once you take advantage of that MITB briefcase, you’re in for a treat.
