BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) — A senior Chinese Communist Party (CPC) official, Cai Qi, on Tuesday called for more efforts to combat unnecessary bureaucracy in paintings and ease the burden on grassroots officials to allow them to dedicate their time and power in policy implementation.
Cai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the central-level remarks on the issue.
The assembly highlighted the desire to reduce the number of procedures and assemblies while maintaining their quality and efficiency, as well as the importance of reducing the number of inspections, controls and unjustified evaluations at the first level, among other efforts.
According to the meeting, education and guidance need to be provided to help school leaders perceive that lightening loads is not the same as cutting tasks and responsibilities, and inspire them to be more entrepreneurial and hardworking.
