The concept of the Web Roulette app is undeniable and ingenious: scroll through your favorite sites or shake your phone to visit a wonderful website.
When you install the browser, Web Roulette gives you a dozen pre-designed sites that you can explore. They come with popular blogs, Imgur, Metacritic, and some web comics.
You can easily delete any of the sites by pressing the minus button next to them and upload new ones by tapping on the “Add Site” button at the top of the menu. You can upload any site of your choice, so feel free to fill it out. The list with all your favorites from your popular browser. If you scroll down, you’ll find dozens of tips divided into categories, such as shopping, inspiration, sports, fashion, business, gaming, technology, and lifestyle.
Once you exit the menu, the app behaves the same way as a dating app: swipe left to load a new site from your list. You can also swipe right to go back. But my favorite feature is shake, which spins the browser like roulette and randomly selects an online page that might not be on your list. This is one of my first (and most successful) rounds:
