This capture is the result of a successful operation through the “A” unit of the SBU Special Operations Center, which captured, cleared and captured a well-fortified stronghold of an enemy battalion. The trench complex contained underground communications, living quarters, a dining hall, an armory, and even a bathhouse.
SBU resources said that the captured infantrymen belonged to the 488th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment and the Chechen special forces unit “Akhmat”, who surrendered even though they had enough material and ammunition.
On Thursday morning, August 15, the “I Need to Live” project, which helps Russians to voluntarily escape from Ukrainian captivity, wrote on its Telegram channel that the hundred Russian infantrymen had been abandoned by their commanders and therefore the sensible resolution toArray
“It’s tricky to fight when you’re commanded by vigilantes and treasure thieves, and your flanks are ‘covered’ by Kadyrov’s bandits who throw everything and everyone to be captured themselves,” the message read.
“And thanks to General Lapin, who helped us advance effectively in the Kursk region, as well as in 2022 in the Kharkiv region, for the defense of which he was responsible. ”
