
It’s Labor Day weekend and we all know what that means. It’s time to watch the last sun of summer and look for some wonderful videos to show.
But how do you value your time? If your to-do list turns out to be a little dry, or you feel like you’ve exhausted all your streaming subscriptions and ended up empty, we’re here to help. Here are seven videos that have just become available for streaming or downloading, as well as where you can watch them.

With a new score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, How to Blow Up a Pipeline is a mystery involving eight Texas eco-activists (you guessed it) trying to blow up a pipeline to disrupt the crude oil industry.
It’s necessarily an eco-friendly edition of the heist movie, in which activists juggle the FBI escape and their own conflicts and infighting. It’s a bit like Oceans Eleven is remade by replacing the weather rather than the wealth at the center of the film.

Technically, this one is precisely new (it’s been on Max since its launch last September), but its sudden arrival on Netflix is wonderful news for those who don’t have Max.
It is a mystery film starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles (yes, that one) that turns out to have deeply divided critics and viewers. The former give the film a modest freshness of 38% on Rotten Tomatoes, while 74% of audience votes give it a boost.
Now that it’s on Netflix, you can do it yourself. Set in the 1950s, the plot considers the move of Alice and her husband Jack to the town of Victory, which, while probably idyllic on the surface, turns out to hide something sinister in the background.

Another that turns out to have divided critics and audiences (with a 34% to 62% split on Rotten Tomatoes): this Ben Affleck mental mystery comes to a police detective looking for a suspect who would have the strength to force other people to contribute. to his crimes the force of hypnotic suggestion.
It’s a crazy adventure, with a plot that takes more and more turns as you go. It’s a multi-layered film, and Affleck himself thinks you might not get the most out of it until you watch it twice.

The arrival may not be entirely new, but it simply appeared on Netflix and remains one of the most productive videos released in recent years, with a Rotten Tomatoes critical score of 94% (and 82% for the audience).
Although it is about extraterrestrial beings arriving on Earth, it is not a science fiction story. Amy Adams plays a linguist hired to try to talk to extraterrestrial visitors, before tensions lead to all-out war.
It was widely praised upon its release, but despite Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Film Editing, Production Design and Sound Mixing, it only won Best Sound Editing.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has still reached the level of its life where it’s included in a streaming subscription, but now you can watch it from the comfort of your own home by buying it directly.
Set in 1944 (with a digitally elderly Harrison Ford) and 1969, the plot centers on Jones and his former goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) teaming up to try to locate two halves of a time device called the Archimedes dial. It fell into the wrong hands.
Is the first Indiana Jones movie in 15 years the wait?Our deals editor, Rory Mellon, has some perspectives on this in our “See or Wait” column. “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny offers many cinematic spectacles that shine on the big screen,” he wrote.
“However, it lacks the fun aspect of previous Indy releases, and relies too heavily on nostalgia for past films, in that it could alienate some enthusiasts who don’t know the lost ark of his last crusade. “
On Rotten Tomatoes, Indiana Jones Five balances a 69% critic score with an 88% audience score. At least it is older than The Crystal Skull Kingdom.

Denzel Washington not only reprises his Tony Award-winning role on Broadway, but also takes on the directorial role in this film adaptation of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Fences. With his acclaimed assets and a Hollywood legend in front of and behind the camera, it’s no wonder Fences has earned Oscar nominations and is 92% behind critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
In the film, Washington plays Troy Maxson, a disillusioned healthcare worker in the ’50s in Pittsburgh who spent his life becoming bitter after racial discrimination imposed on him his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. A simmering tension with his wife, some other brilliant role of Viola Davis and his family circle reach a breaking point when his son (Jovan Adepo) is given an opportunity that Troy never had. Based on two tough performances, Fences will captivate you from start to finish.

The hilarious duo Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are at their most productive in Moving On, a black comedy that follows two estranged friends who reunite at the funeral of another mutual friend. Claire (Fonda) and Evelyn (Tomlin) to kill the widower (Malcolm McDowell) in revenge for the damage he caused decades earlier. While plotting and planning, the duo faces the afterlife and everyone else.
Tomlin and Fonda have the same crackling chemistry and comedy knack that carried Grace and Frankie through seven seasons on Netflix. That his longtime collaborators have effectively transitioned to the big screen with films like 80 for Brady and Moving On is no surprise.
