Ghost Recon Breakpoint takes place on the Island of Auroa. It’s a huge map to play across, switching from high mountain paths to deep swamps and trenches. There are vehicles all over Auroa, which can make travel slightly faster, though sometimes you’ll need to rely on the fat travel system to get to where you need to be. In this Ghost Recon Breakpoint Fast Travel guide, we’ll explain how fast travelling works, and how to unlock more fast travel points.
Fast Travelling is unlocked as soon as you are set free in Breakpoint. To do it, head to the map. You can fast travel to Bivouacs that you’ve discovered, as well as a handful of additional locations like Erewhon. Simply hover the cursor over the location that you want to fast travel to, and hold X/A.
Given that you can fast travel to Bivouacs in Breakpoint, unlocking more of them will allow you to travel to more areas. We recommend visiting our Bivouacs guide, as it will detail how to pin them down and unlock them on your map. You’ll also naturally unlock other fast travel points while playing through the story.
For the majority of the game, you won’t be able to rely on fast travel to get you to mission locations. You’ll likely be able to get close, though you will also likely need to track down vehicles in order to proceed. If you use main roads in Breakpoint, enemies will often patrol nearby. Shooting at a vehicle is a good way to get their attention.
