A Reno man was killed Sept. 28 in a two-vehicle accident on USA Parkway near the Lyon and Storey county borders.
Edmond Jones, 34, was ejected from his motorcycle around 12:30 p.m. at mile marker seven.
Preliminary investigation shows by Nevada Highway Patrol shows that a 2009 Ducati motorcycle driven by Jones was traveling southbound on USA Parkway while a northbound white 2020 Kia Sorento SUV was approaching the same location. Jones entered a curve and crossed into the northbound travel lane, striking the front of the Kia SUV.
Jones was pronounced dead at a local hospital. USA Parkway was closed for about two hours during the investigation.
