Use our live chat with your order.

Virgin Media and O2 joined forces in June 2021, creating one of the country’s largest telecommunications providers, offering award-winning mobile telephony and the UK’s fastest broadband in one place.

In January 2023, we announced that Virgin Mobile consumers would move to O2 plans until the end of the year and that we would simplify our mobile by offering the O2 and giffgaff brands.

We stopped operating as Virgin Mobile at the end of August.

Almost all Virgin Mobile users have now been transferred to O2 plans. We will complete this procedure by the end of 2023.

Customers will continue to have contracts with Virgin Mobile, but O2 will provide their services. They will also have new terms, which you can read about here.

Don’t worry, Virgin Media’s broadband, TV and home phone services don’t replace at all.

We will send you letters or emails explaining everything 30 days before your move-in date and we will receive a reminder SMS later. We will then send you an SMS the day after your move to let you know that your first O2 invoice is ready.

Once you’ve moved, receive welcome emails to O2, so keep an eye on your inbox.

After the move, it will continue to have a contract with Virgin Mobile, but O2 will provide its services.

If you would like to discuss how to update your existing loan agreement with us or make payments, call us on 0344 809 0202 – or 202 from your O2 mobile.

To check the balance of an existing loan agreement, check your contact information, view your payment schedule, and more, log in to our consumer loan portal.

You can locate your main login points in the two emails we sent you when you signed up for your device contract.

These will come from YourAccount@virginmedia. co. uk with the subject lines: “IMPORTANT: Your new Virgin Media credit agreement” and “IMPORTANT: Your Virgin Media password. “

Didn’t you save those emails? Call us on 0344 809 0202 or 202 from your O2 cell phone and we will send them back to you.

Existing loan agreements with Virgin Mobile are not affected by your transfer to O2 and you will continue to repay your existing loan across the board.

If you have been transferred to O2 and have questions about their service, please contact us on 0344 809 0202 or 202 from your O2 mobile phone.

Wait, soon we will send you all the data you need.

This will come with your move-in date and your new O2 rate, which will be equal to or higher than your Virgin Mobile rate.

In most cases, you may not have to do anything else on moving day than leave your phone on.

All new Virgin Mobile sales and updates will close at 6:45 p. m. on August 31, 2023. Si you need to transfer an existing number from another carrier to Virgin Mobile, you will need to do so until the end of September 7. Our call centers are open from 8 a. m. to nine p. m.

If you have provided us with your PAC/STAC data until then, you will need to wait until you have been migrated to an O2 plan before you can transfer your number.
