Battlefield V gets ‘Operation Underground’ map on October 3, takes you to Germany

EA said that Operation Underground draws inspiration from the Operation Métro map featured in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4: Second Assault.

Featuring intense close-quarter combat, the map takes place in a war-torn German city across diverse play areas including urban streets and courtyards, and within the narrow tunnels of the underground railway. The trains are halted when artillery fire ruptures the ground above, causing both sides to navigate through the confined space to reach the other side.

Battlefield V fans have been unhappy with the slow pace of updates, and lots of missed deadlines on the previously-announced roadmap, but additions like this could be signs of EA trying to turn the ship around. However, only time will tell.

Battlefield V’s multiplayer combat remains as grand as ever, with stunning visuals and explosive gameplay. The Firestorm battle royale mode is as thrilling as ever.
