MARION – Under the direction of Kristi Wink, 75 young people from Marion, Cardington, Richwood, Delaware and Galion are coming together to perform Disney’s “Frozen Jr.” this weekend at the Marion Palace Theatre.
Performances will take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.
The production stars Macie Snyder as Anna, Valerie Dunmire as Elsa, Carter Rawlins as Kristoff, Noah Williams as Hans, Jaidyn Opuni as Queen Iduna, Carter Rawlins as King Agnarr, Olivia Shirring as young Anna, Lucy Turner as young Elsa, Elli Schnenck as middle Anna, Carly Cruse as middle Elsa, Abby Isler as Sven and Brody Cahill as Olaf.

Improv in the May begins second season Oct. 12
MARION – Back for a second season of “Improv in the May” is Marion’s own improv troupe Shovel City Improv.
The group will take the Pavilion stage at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12. The event is recommended for ages 16 and older. Tickets are $6, available in advance or at the door.
Hairball performance to feature variety of rock tributes
MARION – Hairball – A Bombastic Salute to Arena Rock will perform at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
The band has performed for nearly 20 years and has three lead singers that rotate the hits of Bon Jovi, Def Leopard, KISS, Poison, Queen, ACDC and more.
