LEXINGTON, MA — A lucky Lexington man won big in a lottery scratch-off game. Cheng Guan Lim won the million dollar prize in the 100X Payout” instant game.
Lim chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes. He plans on using his winnings to pay off his student loans.
He bought his winning ticket at Market Basket, 42 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
Two $4 million prizes and seven additional $1 million prizes have yet to be claimed in the “100X Payout” $10 instant game.
