Is the nation headed for a recession?
Late-night comic Bill Maher seems to be praying for one. He says it’s the only way to get President Donald Trump out of office. Meanwhile, Trump has been bragging about the stock market, the opening of a Shell plant during a speech in Pennsylvania and other feats that probably should be credited elsewhere. Comic Seth Meyers broke it all down a week ago. Take a look at today’s Best of Late Night, above, for that and his explanation of the “fibbit,” which our president seems to be using often.
Maher says the economy is getting so bad, he’s worried about a different deal with Greenland.
