
Olivia Smith had 12 kills, five aces, four digs and three blocks to guide the Tam High girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-13, 25-18 win against San Marin.
Caitlin Smith, a setter by trade, was pushed into service as a libero due to injuries and had nine digs and “passed reallly well out of serve receive,” according to coach Ray Karter.
Kayli Morris had 11 assists and Sarah Baldwin had five aces, four kills and a pair of block for Tam (18-8, 2-2). Abby Bergerson had six kills to lead the Mustangs (13-6, 0-4) while Smith Smith had 13 assists and three aces.
