Eric Brettner (Provided by MarinHealth) Eric Brettner, a veteran in the health care finance field, has been named chief financial officer of MarinHealth in Greenbrae. Brettner has more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as CFO of Peace Health in Bellingham, Washington. In his new role, Brettner will be responsible for financial management, including finance and audit, treasury, tax, accounting and corporate strategy for MarinHealth, which operates MarinHealth Medical Center (formerly Marin General Hospital) and MarinHealth Medical Network. ••• Alicia Coombes (Provided by AlterTheater) After a national search, Alicia Coombes has been named producing artistic director of AlterTheater, a San Rafael production company. Coombes is dramaturge, director, writer and administrator with more than 10 years of experience in Bay Area theater, most recently serving her fourth year at Cal Shakes as the creative content manager. Coombes works alongside Jeanette Harrison, artistic director and co-founder of AlterTheater, which is entering its 15th year. ••• The Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership has announced a new director for Sonoma County and elected new officers to its board of directors following the merger with the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County. Santa Rosa resident Lily Rego has been hired as the director. She will work to improve existing services and advance the goals of the merged organizations. Nancy McKenney, CEO of Marin Humane, is chairwoman of the board; Tiffany Bagala, director of sales at Sandler Partners, is vice chairwoman; Diane Hernandez, area finance officer at Kaiser Permanente, is secretary; and Mike Silva, market president at Comerica Bank, was renamed board treasurer.
