
SHELTON, CT — Two people were arrested in connection in connection with a spat of car burglaries that occurred in August and September, according to police.
Several Huntington area residents reported that items were stolen from their unlocked vehicles and sheds.
Officers found some of the stolen items and linked their thefts to two suspects, said Detective Christopher Nugent, police spokesman.
Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton and Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport were arrested Oct. 3 and both were charged with burglary and larceny-related offenses.
Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and sheds and to secure items of value.
