WILMINGTON, Delaware, Oct. 19, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — DuPont™ Liveo™ today announced its investment in Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to cover electrical energy consumption at the company’s Healthcare Industrial Materials Site (HIMS) facility in Hemlock, Michigan. It resulted in a 69% relief in operating emissions from the 2019 baseline.
While DuPont is committed to purchasing more RECs this year, this is a vital step toward decarbonizing the supply chain of its industry-leading brand, DuPont™ Liveo™ Healthcare Solutions. DuPont will collaborate more with renewable energy providers and upgrade existing boiler systems with higher energy. energy-efficient technology, expand existing recycling systems and create new systems, and works heavily with suppliers to reduce the footprint of raw curtains.
