While newer high-end iPhones offer many local advantages for mobile filmmaking, the addition of certain accessories makes your images even more cinematic.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max debuted in September with many new features, adding titanium, USB-C, and some state-of-the-art cameras. For mobile filmmakers, this is the most productive Apple device yet. Let’s take a look at some accessories that mobile filmmakers need to get wonderful photographs, such as an external SSD, phone stand, and the latest in lenses.

The new iPhone 15 Pro was announced in mid-September via Apple and shipped a week later. Based on conversations I’ve had with local Apple Stores and other retailers, as well as what’s being said on popular Mac pages, it’s been great news. New orders may not arrive for a few weeks, with many highlighting not only the features and new titanium construction, but also the USB-C port, which has replaced the Lightning port.

I have one in herbaceous titanium with a capacity of 256GB, and so far and since my first tests with the 3 cameras (and a front camera), the built-in Filmic Pro software and the Blackmagic Camera app, it’s Apple’s best iPhone yet. Mobile movie creation, editing via iMovie or LumaFusion, and general use.

Since the iPhone 15 Pro is only a month old at the time of writing, third parties are still using accessories and adding lenses. Moment has published an article and video that only discusses the new phone, but also compares how it performs with its T. -Series and M Series Lenses. There are some slight alterations and they have a solution.

Moment also released this “Cinematic Day in the Life” video featuring the iPhone 15 Pro Max and its T-series lenses, and the photographs are pretty good.

Moment’s T-series lenses are available in 58mm Tele, 18mm Wide, 14mm Fisheye, 10x Macro, 1. 55x Anamorphic (gold and blue flares), and 1. 33x Anamorphic (gold and blue flares). T-series lenses for 1. 33x anamorphic lenses. Moment now sells instances for the popular iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, as well as a CineClear protective filter, a screen saver, and more. Check out their online page for more information. More main points about your lenses and accessories.

SANDMARC is an option and the company offers lenses for iPhone 15 Pro/15 Pro Max and other accessories, adding SANDMARC Creator Grip, as shown at the top of this article. It will launch in December for $99. 99.

While using the handheld camera with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is a problem, it’s bigger to get a more stabilized shot. The good news is that there are already stabilizers that are compatible with all new iPhones, adding the 15 and 15 Plus. .

The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 is one of my favorite smartphone gimbal stabilizers. It’s easy to hold, folds small, has 3-axis stabilization, and you can phone remotely. It works with many Android and iOS devices, adding Apple’s newest stuff. It costs only $149 and you can read more about it here.

Other gimbals compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro come with DJI OM 5, Zhiyun Smooth 5S, Insta36o Flow, and Zhiyun Smooth-Q4.

If you’re shooting a lot of footage, even an iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max with 1TB of space will fill up quickly, so having an external SSD is a must to move those clips around. The C port allows for 10 Gbps throughput, so it’s undeniable and fast to move images and organize your clips for editing.

Crucial’s X8 and X9, PNY Pro Elite V2, LaCie Rugged SSD Pro (and Mobile SSD), and Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch are all great options. The price varies depending on the length of storage, but expect to pay between $80 and $200, with the “sweet spot” being around $160. All readers should be found in major e-commerce outlets, such as Amazon.

Although it’s “out of the box”, the iPhone 15 Pro will get wonderful cinematic photographs, adding the right accessories will make it even more cinematic. Even if you’re a casual filmmaker with a cell phone, investing in some accessories like the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 will take some stylish shots. My last piece of advice is to use a cinematic app like the ones from Filmic Pro, Moment and Blackmagic.
