Pet owners may soon have to find a new way to track their pets. T-Mobile will shut down its SyncUP PETS service on November 10, 2023.
Launched in early 2020, T-Mobile’s SyncUP PETS service is a service the carrier offers puppy owners so they can keep track of their puppies. The service works by attaching a SyncUP PETS device to the puppy’s collar. This device then connects to T-Mobile. red, allowing puppy owners to see where their puppies are at all times.
That service is now coming to an end, the company announced on its website. In two weeks, SyncUP PETS devices will no longer be able to connect to T-Mobile’s network. This means that those devices will be inactive after November 10.
If you visit T-Mobile’s website, the service is now not on their lists. However, there are still pages left for SyncUP PETS.
The operator claims that it will take care of everything and that consumers will not have to do anything. Any service visitor will have those lines canceled and billing will stop immediately. You’ll also be able to keep your SyncUP PETS, T -The mobile says there’s no desire to go back to them. Users also deserve to receive a text message informing them that the service will be suspended.
If you are one of the consumers and want a new solution, there are many better alternatives. For example, Tile and Apple AirTag are smart choices.
