Real estate transactions drive Lincoln Educational Services’ strategic expansion projects for 2024 and beyond, expanding presence in the South and moving the historic Nashville campus to more facilities.
Parsippany, New Jersey, Nov. 3, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (NASDAQ: LINC), a national leader in specialty technical education for more than 75 years, announced two major advancements as a component of its strategic expansion plan. The first is the expansion into a new market with the rental of a facility in Houston, Texas, the fourth largest job market in the country. The timing is the conclusion of a lease for the relocation of the Nashville, Tennessee campus. Services will offer industry-backed vocational education systems to prepare scholars for careers in some of the nation’s fastest-growing practical fields, while Lincoln’s efforts to close the skills gap faced by many U. The announcements come as Lincoln nears the final finishing touch on the structure of its new campus in Atlanta, Georgia, which is expected to begin operations in the first part of 2024, as well as the recently announced facility acquisition to move its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, campus to a larger campus. The Houston campus will be Lincoln Tech’s second school in Texas; The company has operated its Grand Prairie campus since 1966. The new campus will feature an approximately 100,000-square-foot education center, providing career opportunities in automotive, diesel, welding, HVAC, and electrical and electronics. The new Nashville campus will be more than 120,000 square feet, allowing Lincoln to expand the trade education introduced with the addition of electrical and HVAC systems, while maintaining existing systems in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, collision repair and welding. The new campus will also feature an area to house various component educational programs, starting with the Peterbilt Diesel Specialty Program as a component of Lincoln’s relationship with the trucking giant. For the students’ professional education goals, the campus will feature true automotive bays. heavy equipment and diesel, on-site structure breakdown warehouses, and a number of individual welding booths. The current campus location will remain fully operational to ensure a stylish move in the early part of 2025.
