BEIJING – A Chinese fishing boat overturned and sank sunday morning off the coast of eastern Zhejiang Province, killing at least 12 other people and leaving 4 missing, according to state media.
Four of the team’s 20 members have been rescued alive and the search continues, China Xinhua’s official news firm said.
Maritime seeks dispatched helicopters and rescue boats for the operation, and nearby also joined fishing boats.
Xinhua said the search and rescue of the maritime province won a report at 4:28 a. m. Sunday that the ship had overturned.
